Escapades Thodikana....

It was purely unplanned and shortest trip ever made in my life only distance of 157Km up and down. Yesterday evening after the busy office schedule I was thinking of what to do on May Day’s leave, then my colleague Vinod told me that there is a beautiful village called Thodikana is nestled under the foot hills of Western Ghats near Sullia, and also it’s known for the famous Sri Mallikarjuna temple.

Sullia to Thodikana distance is only18Km one has to drive 12Kms on the main Sampaje road and take diversion from Aranthodu. When we reached Aranthodu called Vinod was also joined with us. From Aranthodu road goes between dense forest but some of the places forest replaced with rubber plantations, on right hand side of the road one can spot the Western Ghats.
