Trip to Badami - Part 5 (Northern Hill and Return Journey)

DAY FOUR 13th September 2016

At the entrance of the Northern hill of Badami a small neatly maintained Museum located. Just half an hour is sufficient to cover the museum so first we covered the museum and started to climb the hill.

Entrance of Northern Hill

Compared to the cave temples climbing the Northern hill is little bit tough task. Minimum one and half hour required to complete this but its worth to visit.

Its does not look like a hotel we can call it as a house. As soon as enter the hotel a lady was sitting behind the cash table.

Superb road

The man took us inside, a medium sized room kept with some tables and benches, a small girl was laying in the floor. We were very hungry ordered for lunch and got excellent lunch.

According to our new plan decided to take Sirsi route instead of Ranibennur. Because once we reached near NH66 then there is easy to come home of Hartal. So took diversion from Bankapur and headed towards Sirsi as per our plan night halt was Sirsi but we reached Sirsi around 1815hrs so decided to move further and reached Kumta by 200hrs and first filled fuel and took room on Panduranga International.  Next morning 0500hrs left the room when we reached near Honnavar Highway was closed due to Gas tanker accident. Cops are very friendly they showed us a bypass route and we approached it and reached home by 1130hrs.
