From this ridge point, rain water flowing towards west reaches River Kumaradhara and joins Nethravathi and finally goes to Arabian sea. In the East links up with river Hemavathy, Kavery and finally reaches to the Way of Bengal at Tamilnadu.
Around 1200hrs reached Near Mallalli waterfalls, road is narrow but in good condition, at the end some few kilometers new concrete road was built.
Due to Sunday many tourist are gathered at waterfalls, most of them are from Bangalore side. To reach base of the waterfalls is not easy task. It took us one hour.

Left home at early morning 05hrs, plan was to visit the famous Mallalli waterfall located near Somawarpet, Kodagu. At 0545hrs. reached Mulleria there my friend Karthik joined the ride on his Apache, from there we headed towards Kukke Subramanya via Jalsoor,

At 0800hrs reached the famous Subramanya and took breakfast and headed towards Mallalli waterfall via Bisle Ghat.
Kulkunda Village
It was around 0830hrs, slightly drizzling we took Subramanya-Gundya Road after traveling 2.8km a small village called Kukunda comes, from here took diversion to Bisle Ghat Road.

Bisle Ghat road is famous for flora and funa, it goes through deep Bisle Reserve forest, best time to visit this place is monsoon.

Pea Eggplant/Wild Eggplant (Kudane ಕುದನೆ)
On the way found lot of Wild Eggplants. In olden day these these plants are grafted with brinjal plants in our village.

On the way you can get many small water streams. Its really worth to travel on this route. After traveling few kilometer reached a check post located near one small temple called Shri Chamundeshwarai Ammanavara Devasthana.

Here Devotees offer animals to the Godess, after that some peoples are scarifies the Goat and prepare food inside the forest, a small water stream also running near the temple.

After clicking some snaps headed towards Bisle. Till the half way road was narrow but properly concreted. and rest of the parts are mixture of rough tarmac and some off roads.

After traveling 23km from Subramanya reached Bisle Ghat View point. A well maintained watch tower built at this point. one can can enjoy the beauty of nature from here.

After spending half an hour headed towards Mallalli falls, on the way passed through a small village called Mankana Halli, a small beautiful village significant village. A beautiful natural pond built on the road side. On the edge of a small concrete plate form built by British. The stone kept on this flat form marked Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea.

Around 1300hrs finished lunch at near by hotel and started our return journey via Madapur and Madikeri and reached around 1930hrs.
