Goodu Deepa or Kandeel is made out of wooden frame work covered with cloured paper, these lanterns are hung in front of the House in the time of Deepavali. It was different in shape. Every year Goodu Deepa Competition was going at Shri Gokarnanatheshwara temple atat Mangalore.
This year competition held on7th November 2015, many participants were participated, so many materials are used it's really wonderful experience, here are some pictures enjoy.
